Designed for use with Oregon Scientific's cable-free thermometer base units, this remote sensor transmits temperature data from up to 100 feet away. Complete with a waterproof 10-foot sensing probe, you can mount the unit outdoors or indoors while keeping the cable outside. The sensor is powered by two AA batteries and features its own LCD temperature screen. Weather gurus with more than one remote sensor can take advantage of the user-selectable channel assignment feature. As reliable as it is convenient, this sensor features an appealingly discreet profile and a weather-resistant construction.
